Brian Bernazard is a Seattle based visual artist, music producer, and turntablist.
Born in 1982 in Downers Grove Illinois, Bernee moved throughout the U.S. during his childhood, living in several metropolitan areas including Cleveland OH., Orlando FL., and Princeton NJ. He began cultivating a love for drawing at a very early age, but was first introduced to graffiti at the age of 13 in Cleveland OH. He attributes this as a major influence in ultimately developing the unique visual language exhibited in his work.
In 2000, at the age of 18, Bernee moved to Philadelphia PA. Residing there for the next 8 years, he honed his skills in the arts of skateboarding, graffiti, and turntablism, under the tutelage of seasoned veterans in a city where these are time honored traditions.
Upon moving westward, in 2009 Bernee finally settled in Seattle WA, where he resides with his daughter Cedar Sibella. Here he founded Home Skateboards, and currently works as a special education instructional assistant, graphic designer, music producer, and DJ.
In the summer of 2018, after nearly two decades of spinning records, Bernee released his debut music album of downtempo instrumental grooves, "Let Down Your Cool".
He followed up, in the fall of 2018, with his sophomore release “Conduit”, incorporating influence derived from the sounds of eastern cultures.
Spring of 2019 yielded his third album release, “Successors”, featuring more hip-hop, and soulful jazz inspired production.
